On Eagle's Wings :: Alcohol Recovery Residence in Minneapolis
In August 2000, Overcomer's Ministry opened "On Eagles Wings", a nine-unit apartment building located at 1911 11th Avenue South in Minneapolis. The building was scheduled for demolition and was purchased from the city of Minneapolis for one dollar.

The residence is for native Christian people who are in recovery from alcohol abuse and those in the process of stabilizing their lives. Residents are required to:

• pay an affordable rent
• work, or enroll in an education program
• be involved in faith based alcohol recovery program
• demonstrate they are living a Christian life

The cost of renovation was approximately $450,000, and financing was arranged by the Wallestad Foundation through Voyages Bank.
